The Genossenschaftsverband Weser-Ems audits, advises and supports the cooperative companies in the Weser-Ems region – always with the aim of further strengthening the economic success of the cooperative companies in Weser-Ems. At present, almost 300 companies belong to the Weser-Ems cooperative association.

At the Genossenschaftsakademie Weser-Ems in Rastede, the Genossenschaftsverband Weser-Ems trains employees of member companies and offers extensive qualification opportunities.
The Genossenschaftsverband Weser-Ems represents the cooperative interests of the region in nationwide cooperative committees and in politics. The association is based in Raiffeisenstraße in Oldenburg.
